Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 24, 2026
Welcome Canada (operated by Smartoire Inc.) values the confidentiality of your personal identity and business setup variables. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your details in accordance with Canadian privacy standards.
1. PIPEDA & Privacy Principles
We operate in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (**PIPEDA**). All processing activities adhere to the ten fair information principles, ensuring accountability, limiting collection, and providing user access to records.
2. Information We Collect
To prepare your sole proprietorship forms and CRA tax account requests, our onboarding wizard collects:
- Individual Parameters: Name, personal address, contact email.
- Business Parameters: Proposed trade names, provincial location, type of activities.
- Tax Parameters: Voluntary parameters required for CRA Form RC59 or payroll registrations (e.g. employee details, estimated revenues).
3. Isolated Local AI Processing
Standard AI software relies on external US-based models which store, inspect, and train on user prompts. Welcome Canada strictly avoids this risk:
Zero data leakage: All text analysis and document compilation are run locally on sandboxed, private cloud servers hosted in Canada. Your details never route to third-party LLMs like OpenAI, Anthropic, or external API endpoints.
4. Data Deletion Policies
We do not keep data forever. Once your registration drafts are finalized, manual audits are complete, and your files are downloaded:
You can request a complete session purge in your dashboard at any time. Clicking "Purge Session" triggers an automated script that securely wipes all database variables associated with your workspace.
5. Third-Party Links & Disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal variables to marketing companies. We only disclose details to provincial registries or the Canada Revenue Agency as directed by your onboarding questionnaire.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy to reflect modifications in our software engine or registry procedures. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp.
7. Contact the Privacy Officer
